Andrew Freeman
Founder & Principal, afreeman
Andrew Freeman is the founder and principal of afreeman. He works with clients and colleagues to envision and implement conceptually significant yet commercially successful design solutions. He is responsible for excellence across all afreeman projects.
His expertise includes the design of identities, branding systems, environmental graphics, interactive media, packaging and publications. During the course of his career, Andrew has been the recipient of numerous industry honors and awards from design associations and publications.
Prior to founding afreeman in 2012, Andrew served as Associate Partner to Paula Scher at Pentagram in New York. He holds a BFA and BGD from the Rhode Island School of Design and currently teaches at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
Lindsay Bazos
Design Director, afreeman
Lindsay Bazos is Design Director at afreeman. She is responsible for ensuring the design work meets afreeman standards and client needs. Lindsay combines expertise in naming, writing, identity design, branding systems, packaging and strategic thinking to add value to projects.
Before joining afreeman, Lindsay collaborated with design institutions including Johnson & Johnson, Bumble and bumble and IDEO. She also consulted and designed for a range of brands including PepsiCo and Target, as well as smaller organizations such as the YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund. Lindsay holds a BA in Creative Writing from Denison University and a MFA in Design from California College of the Arts.
